Then three Least Terns attacked me. They took turns and flew toward me and gave a loud call as they made a sudden upturn right in front of my face. They did it continuously until I got away from the vegetation. |

Then the bill starts turn yellow as the body turns darker. We saw many (possibly 100+) Juvenile Least Terns at the sanctuary. |
