Note: I was walking on the sand at the edge of vegetation in the sanctuary. Then three Least Terns attacked me. They took turns and flew toward me and gave a loud call as they made a sudden upturn right in front of my face. They did it continuously until I got away from the vegetation.

Note: The first year Least Tern starts with all black bill as you see in the TOP photo. Then the bill starts turn yellow as the body turns darker.

We saw many (possibly 100+) Juvenile Least Terns at the sanctuary.

Notes: Two Common Terns in the breeding plumage sit next to much lager Caspian Tern.
