| Green-winged Teal has vertical white line on sides. Asian cousin has a horizontal line on the wing (male). Females are very difficult if not impossible to identify in the field. They both show up on the wrong coast of the Pacific time to time and cause excitement among the silly humans - that's us. Hybrid between the two are observed in Japan and the U. S. | |
